It was a wonderful day in the house of the Lord. He is Risen...HE is risen indeed! The choir sang at both services and the 10:30 service was a rockin. The kids woke up early and came to church with us at 8:00 and I was able to take a few pictures with the beautiful flowers.

So proud of Kimberly! She was Mrs. Mayor in the production of Sussecial Jr. at her school. March 6th and 7th. After more than 2 months of rehearsals, it is all over. moving on to the next adventure.

A Trip to AZ in March

Scottsdale in March! The day I left it was freezing rain that turned to 4 inches of snow. Too bad for those in Minnesota....I was able to sit on the balcony and look over the golf course for a few hours of down time. I was able to see my Mom and stay with her overnight and then go shopping!! Thank you Jim, I did have to do some work while I was gone, not hard to do with your laptop and cell phone.

Our last Pinewood Derby

We have been making cars in the house for the 7 years. It seems that Tom knows how to make these cars go fast. Yet again another winner inour house. Kimmy took first place for the fastest car. #39 "News on Wheels" GOD in the news.

Coupon Presentation

Last week on Monday Janine called and asked if I could speak to the women at her church. Of course I said YES!!!! I love to save money and teach others how to do that. I have a powerpoint presentation and handouts and the rest just falls into place. I took some pictures of my "Grocery Store" so I thought that I would attach a few.

Minnesota Wild Game

Last week I went to my first Wild game. It was a client appreciation for my brother's company. It was such fun planningthe evening and then to meet everyone. The food was wonderful, even down to the brownies and icecream. After Sara sang the national anthem she came up to the suite to enjoy the game and have something to eat. Watching hockey at the X was sure fun and I would go again any day.

Random Thoughts

Here are two pictures of my kids. Tommy is such a funny kid. Loving life as a teenager. Kimberly just receive this picture from her Dance teacher. It was a very beautiful dance that she did for her 5 year recital.

Friday is a wonderful day

Today I needed to drive Tom to work and then run an errand for work. It was great to spend time with Tom this morning. Listening to Air1 and talking about our life. Then I went to find some plastic shopping bags for our senior fair next week. No luck, the store I went to only carries paper bags now. Decided to make the big loop around the cities to work and Kimberly called.....NO SCHOOL BUS today. Rush to go get her and bring her to school. Finally to work and excited to get going on stuff at the office. I LOVE my job!

So now can you beleive we are watching the Super Bowl on DVR. Yes we know who won the game!

Sick Day

What that means for me? A day at home with a young one not feeling well. I am working remotely and juggling a cell phone, laptop and using lunar pages webmail to stay connected. I miss the copier and life at the office. Today it is minus 3 degrees so staying inside the house is where I want to be, toasty warm. The boys received a new schedule at school yesterday and new classes and teachers for the 2 half of the year. With this half comes baseball and I can not wait. It looks like I need to go out and purchase some purple and white to cheer on Brooklyn Center!

February 2009

January just flew by and now a new month February....A Birthday, Valentines day, field trip to the Ordway and a few no school days. It looks to be another busy month. I suppose with 3 kids I will keep me busy. Kimberly is now in daily rehearsals for Suessical Jr. and the Boys keep bowling every week. Speaking of bowling Tommy was in several tournaments and has just now found out the results. He won top spot for his district 1st out or 50 or 60 and then when he went to state he took 8th out of 78 bowlers. The other tournament he was in he won for a high number of pins over average. What fun he is having and a great way to start out his scholarship fund for college.

COLD days in Minnesota

We have had many snow days in the last month that I actually am tired of the white stuff already. Now the cold is arriving...... So everyone stay warm.

Coupons and a shopping trip

After spending all night and most of this morning clippin,organizing and making sure I matched up the right Coupons to the Ad, off I went to Walgreens. My first trip 2 Aleeve for 22.00 with 2 1.00 off coupons. I paid 20.00 and I received a 10.oo offmy next order Coupon. I also mailed in this receipt/UPC's and I will get a check for 10.00 in the mail. Hum.....FREE ALEEVE. Second Trip I purchase many items from the ad and I did use coupons and the 10.00 off from 1st trip and I only paid 4.69. My receipt said I saved $32.11 WOW!!! Now my 3rd trip Again items from the ad and a few 75% items (Christmas) again coupons and my total 10.32. I saved $33.81. Not a bad shopping trip. Free Ben and Jerry's I am done till I get to CVS and Cub later this week. Does anyone need so dish washing soap?

Sunday: A day of Worship and Football

Today it was wonderful to be with our Church family. Pastor Ricks message was so basic and great to hear again. What are we all about at BPEFC. We changes lives through all the ministries at our church. Thanks Pastor Rick for sharing and for all the Pastors who keep our ministries strong.

Now on to the Minnesota Vikings......I am not sure that we can pull this one off, but we will still cheer loudly at this house.

Yesterday Kimberly went to visit Jewels at your Salon and she needed a haircut! We worked all day on Friday to get a knot out and no luck. So off the hair came. She now has short hair and what a cute girl.



Last night at 9:00pm Tommy, Ben and I went to church for the Youth Lock-in till 7:00 am. The kids were very excited and I was thinking about the sleep I will be missing. I offered up alot of craft supplies for those who did not want to play dodgeball, play games or inflatiables. It was a really fast night. Joey I.L.O. came to open up the night with a great comedy routine. It was a great change. The midnight came and a huge run of games. At 5:30 we played BINGO oh what fun that was. I think a few were sleeping at this time. We all came home at 6:50 and off to bed. Now I need to readjust my body back to a normal day schedule.

Happy New Year

It seems that everyone in this house is enjoying no school, staying up late and sleeping in. Not Mommy, I go to sleep early and still get up early. Not tonight though. I will be staying up ALL night at the Youth Lock-In. You can pray for me and all the other workers. Have a wonderful your weekend.
